    Mutwanga Women Innitiative (MWI) is not for profit community Organisation legally registered to promote grassroots-led eco-friendly initiatives, promote education and human right. The organisation waas founded in 2017 and fully registered on 26th/11/2018 and recorganised at Municipality of Bulango in North Kivu Province- Democratic Republic of Congo.

    Our approach since inception has been to promote the valve of education, vocational skill, smart agriculture and nature conservaation, We also empower communities to effectively and sustainably use available resources. Amplifying voices of community to end various forms of injustice and leave peaceffully in their communities.

    We empower communities to ensure sustainable solution to local challanges through promoting sustainaable farming, eco-friendly economic emmpowerment, and food security. Offfering mentorships, green skills innovation, and advocating for inclusive nutritionand access to water, sanitation and Hygiene(WASH) praactices, recognising their critical role in enhancing community resilience to climate-related challanges.

    MWI is committted to creating and delivering community-led resilient economic, conservational agricultural and Environmental practices and second pillar is to break illiteracy gap through accelerating and enaabling environment for quality educationnn for all and talent development for better generation.

    What We Do.

      1) SUATAINABLE RESILIENT AGRICULTURE VALUE CHAIN AND RESPONSE TO CLIMATIC CHANGE(SIRARC).

    This program focuses on prromting community-led actions to trannssform and reorient agricultural systems, eensuring food security and sustainable development in the face of climatic change. Our aapproach of community agriculture value chain and climatic led Acction, helps us to identify the needds of various communities/households n relation to food security annd effect possed by climmatic change.

      2) EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS

    Seeing Education as the key to economic development, MWI support started her own school to support the vulnerable children (Orphans, disabled, including children from poorer household). We also support other existing learning establishment (both public and private schools) working together with local community to improve, consolidate and monitor educational opportunities.

      3) WATER, SANITATION, AND HYGINE (WASH)

    Our WASH program cultivates dialogue with communities about sanitation and hygiene and helps them gain access to clean water. WASH empowers local leaders and builds relationships with and within communities to help members lift themselves out of unhealthy living conditions in sustainable ways.
